More than a picture in a wallet.
Goop starts with a question: what if a collectible could become something new? Its specimens are the starting point for a world of characters, experiments, and possible evolutions, imagined for games and interactive experiences.
Tacocat brought that idea into a web experience people can explore. The work connects a bold visual identity, a structured specimen collection, and a Fusion Factory prototype that tests how generative AI can combine characters.

A world before a wallet.
The website introduces Goop with a deliberately simple identity and a little strange science. An interactive vial responds to the pointer, while motion gives the landing page a sense of life.
Visitors can move from the introduction into the Fusion Factory and explore the project’s story, experiments, and token concepts through connected documentation.
Character starts in the details.
The specimen system contains 1,024 character records with individual traits and gameplay attributes. Names, species, colors, accessories, and stats give each specimen its own starting identity.
Individual specimen pages turn that structured content into something browsable, with collection artwork and animated trait presentations. The same character data provides material for future experiments.
Inside the Fusion Factory.
A working prototype makes the central idea tangible: combine a Goop specimen with another character and explore an entirely new visual identity.

Pair a character
Select a partner from the sample inventory to bring a second set of visual characteristics into the mix.
Explore the fusion
The AI artwork flow uses both inputs to explore a new character. The public preview includes an illustrative sample.
The prototype focuses on the creative experience. Wallet ownership, onchain minting, and playable 3D characters belong to later phases.
